I don't know Brendan, have you seen the vibrate mode in action? Tell you what, Renda's going to buy one just for Ginger II and personal use.

If Meyer's will sell one to him that is, he wasn't too nice to the Meyer rep. :grinz

Just something about a brand new (unused) plow that is showing the ribs through the moldboard already. Cylinders are too small, cutting edge looked like sheet metal, lift arm too long--this means breaking and no ability to SHORT CHAIN--the vibrate feature will loosen every bolt on your plow and truck as well as wake the living dead. The new hookup was sort of unique. The oscillation is very nice, not sure why the pickup plow mfg's as a whole haven't been using this for a long time as the big plows are using it and have been.

Maybe they should try a stainless version.

My dad started with Meyers way, way back. Good plows, you knew where the weak spots were so they made the dealer give them a quart of Meyer yellow paint because the first thing they did was bring it to the welder and fix all the weak spots and then repainted all the burn marks.

Like has been stated, other than the one I saw Friday, there are few overall changes in the Meyers plow, hookup since I can remember seeing one back about when Scott is talking about. They are virtually the same technology.
